  • Cartier Park Natural area and camping facility is situated on the Lincoln River just 4 miles south of the Ludington State Park. This 68 acre natural area is home to a one mile walking loop, the Cartier Park campground, Lincoln River access site and many acres of untouched natural forest area.

  • Grand Valley State University has an excellent climbing center.  It is easiest to climb during their "open climb" hours.  It is advisable to contact them ahead of time to be sure that they have adequate staff available for your group.   They do offer the Climbing Merit Badge for a $35 fee.  Climbing Merit Badge information.

  • Pigeon Creek offers cross country ski rentals that can be used on their extensive groomed trails.  They have several lighted trails that can be used in the evening as well.   Also offered is a sledding hill, snow shoe rental, as well as a group campsite if you want an extended outing.
